Any client engagement, project commencement, or commercial relationship shall only begin once both parties have executed a separate written agreement, proposal, estimate, or contract.

  • Ongoing creative and technical support

All commercial engagements are governed by separate project-specific agreements outlining scope, timelines, deliverables, revisions, fees, payment schedules, ownership terms, and other applicable commercial terms.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

Unless otherwise stated, all intellectual property rights in relation to the Site and its contents are owned by Designmill and/or its licensors.

This includes but is not limited to:

  • logos and trademarks
  • visual identities
  • typography systems
  • graphics and illustrations
  • layouts and interface designs
  • written copy and concepts
  • case studies and presentations
  • animations, videos, and photographs
  • source code and digital assets

All rights are reserved.

Client work displayed on the Site remains the intellectual property of the respective client unless otherwise contractually agreed and is featured strictly for portfolio and promotional purposes.

No material from the Site may be copied, reproduced, modified, republished, stored, distributed, licensed, sold, adapted, or commercially exploited without prior written consent from Designmill.

4. Ownership Transfer

Unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing:

  • all preliminary concepts, unused designs, drafts, explorations, source files, working files, and development assets remain the property of Designmill
  • intellectual property rights transfer only upon receipt of full and final payment
  • Designmill retains ownership over internal processes, frameworks, methodologies, and non-deliverable assets used during project execution

Open-source elements, licensed assets, plugins, fonts, stock materials, and third-party tools remain subject to their respective licenses and ownership terms.

5. Portfolio & Promotional Rights

Designmill reserves the right to feature completed, published, or publicly launched work in:

  • portfolios
  • case studies
  • exhibitions
  • social media
  • presentations
  • award submissions
  • promotional and marketing materials

Unless otherwise agreed in writing under a confidentiality or non-disclosure agreement.

6. Acceptable Use & Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • scrape, harvest, extract, or reproduce Site data
  • use bots, crawlers, spiders, AI agents, or automated systems to access the Site
  • use Site content for AI training, datasets, machine learning models, or generative systems
  • reverse engineer or derive source code from the Site
  • interfere with Site infrastructure or security
